Bookings & contract
A booking is confirmed when you receive our booking confirmation. Please check details and notify us of errors within 24 hours. The contract is formed upon our confirmation.
Payments & prices
Prices are in EUR and include VAT unless stated otherwise. What’s included/excluded is shown on each tour page. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing/typing errors (E&OE). Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Payment Service Provider
Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

Cancellations by you
● Cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled 1 day or less before the event
● No-show: 100% charge. No-show includes late arrival beyond the published start time (10–15 min window).
Cancellations/changes by us
For safety, weather or force majeure, we may modify routes/timings or cancel. If we cancel, you may reschedule or receive a full refund of amounts paid. We are not liable for indirect costs (e.g., travel or accommodation).
Safety & eligibility
The guide may refuse participation for safety/eligibility reasons. Please tell us in advance about medical conditions that may affect your participation.
Equipment & damage
Guests are responsible for intentional or negligent damage to equipment or property and may be charged repair/replacement costs.
Weather, aurora & environment
Tours operate in winter conditions; adjustments may be made for safety. Northern lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed; lack of sightings is not a ground for refund if the tour operates as scheduled.
Liability & insurance
We operate fully licensed & insured as required by Finnish law. Participants are responsible for their personal travel insurance. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for loss of personal property unless caused by our negligence.
Photos & media
We only use guest photos/videos for marketing with explicit consent.
Complaints
Please raise any issues promptly on site. Written complaints within 14 days to info@northernadventures.fi

Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are settled primarily amicably; if not, the competent Finnish court applies, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
